Electrician Jailed After Changing Company WhatsApp Image To Photo Of His Genitals
An electrician from Littleport, Cambridgeshire, has been sentenced to two years in prison for cyberflashing three women, including potential customers at his business.
Liam Brodie, 34, changed his business WhatsApp profile picture from his company logo to a photo of his genitals while messaging a woman who had inquired about electrical work in September 2024.
When the woman challenged him, he claimed his account had been hacked (classic). However, he then kept switching the profile picture to other photos of him naked.
In November 2024, another woman reported that Brodie had done the same thing to her while they were discussing a job quote. A police investigation later revealed he had also sent unsolicited explicit images and a string of unwanted messages to an ex-girlfriend.

PC Coralie Skillings of Cambridgeshire Police noted that Brodie may have believed changing a profile picture was a loophole to avoid direct sending, but obviously the intention is for the victims to see the images anyway.
Basically, this guy thought he could safely “send” unsolicited d1ck pics by simply changing his Whatsapp photo instead of literally sending the photos to his victims, and if they responded negatively (which they did, every time), he could just claims he was being hacked. Incredible.
Brodie pleaded guilty to three counts of sending a photograph or film of genitals to cause alarm, distress, or humiliation.
He was given an immediately two-year sentence, which is actually surprising as it seems suspended sentences are all the rage in Britain these days.
There’s literally people being let off for smuggling 35kg of drugs into the country and this guy’s getting two years for sending d1ck pics. Who knows? If he looked like Brad Pitt he may have actually got away with it. Unlucky, bud.
