Son Of Norway’s Crown Princess, Who Is Featured In The Epstein Files, Detained On Rape Charges

The 29-year-old son of the Norwegian Crown Princess who kept close ties with Jeffrey Epstein, has been detained and is facing 38 charges, including the rape of four women.

King Joffrey-lookalike Marius Borg Høiby is the son of Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit and stepson of heir to the throne, Crown Prince Haakon.

Høiby faces four counts of rape involving women who were allegedly asleep or incapacitated. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges, with his defense claiming the encounters were “voluntary sexual relations”.

Aside from that, the 38-count indictment includes domestic abuse, bodily harm, drug possession (transporting 3.5kg of marijuana), making death threats, and traffic violations. The guy is an absolute menace!

His trial is unfolding alongside scrutiny of his mum, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, following the latest batch of Epstein files that were released.

The files revealed extensive contact between the Crown Princess and Epstein from 2011 to 2014. Documents confirm she stayed at Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion for four nights in 2013.

She was also invited to Epstein’s island at least twice, although it’s not clear whether they went. Sounds like Høiby would have fit right in, though.

Either way, the scandals have absolutely rocked the reputation of the Norwegian Royal Family, with the latest polls showing that nearly half of Norwegians believe Mette-Marit should not become queen.

As for Høiby, he isn’t technically royalty, given he’s the stepson of the Crown Prince. He has no royal title and no royal duties. And so he’s essentially a citizen facing multiple rape charges, and the expectation is that he might actually be convicted and imprisoned.

The feeling in Norway seems to be that if anyone tries to protect him or he receives preferential treatment in the face of such serious allegations, the backlash could upend the monarchy. That’s not worth sparing this little scrote a little jail time, is it? Besides, the prisons in Norway are meant to be quite fancy.

There’s further controversy around his mum being told about the investigation in advance by the Royal Court, and then warning her son and even helping him clean his apartment before police arrived. Which is basically tampering with evidence, although prosecutors have already decided that they will not be questioning the Crown Princess about this.

Høiby was most recently detained on February 1, on new allegations of assault and violating a restraining order. On February 2, the court ordered him to be held in custody for at least four weeks while the trial proceeds.

If convicted of the most serious offenses, he could face up to 16 years in prison.

Imagine – basically winning the lottery when your mum starts dating a literal Norwegian prince and heir to the Norwegian throne, and you manage to balls it all up by (allegedly) raping and sexually assaulting a multiple women. What an absolute scumbag.
