Matt Lucas Confronted On The London Underground By ‘Free Palestine’ Activist

If you’re a famous person who’s chosen a side in the Israel/Palestine saga, then you better keep your head on a swivel in London. Matt Lucas was just going about his day earlier when a guy wearing a keffiyeh and yelling ‘Free Palestine’ confronted the Little Britain creator:

Now I’m no geopolitical expert but I’m not sure that having a go at Matt Lucas is going to change anything about the atrocities happening in Gaza. In fact I just looked it up and doesn’t seem like Matt Lucas has ever commented on the situation specifically at all?

Although he is Jewish, has visited Israel regularly for decades, and signed an open letter calling for the release of hostages from Hamas. So we can probably make an educated guess.

Still, I’m not sure that warrants the guy being harassed in public. He actually dealt with it quite patiently and graciously, all things considered. Well, until he batted the camera way, but I guess everyone has their breaking point.
