Dubai Billionaire CEO Resigns After E-Mail Reveals Jeffrey Epstein Thanked Him For “Torture Video”

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the billionaire CEO of Dubai-based logistics giant DP World, has resigned after an e-mail exchange he had with Jeffrey Epstein was included as part of the recent leak.

U.S. Representatives identified bin Sulayem as the recipient of a 2009 email from Epstein that said: “Where are you? are you ok, I loved the torture video”:

We can only imagine what kind of torture video they’re talking about, but analysts suggest it could refer to a a video of UAE royal, Sheikh Issa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, torturing a business partner in the desert. Or it could involve children. Who knows?

The leaked files revealed hundreds of emails between the pair from 2007 to 2019. They chatted about sex, “intimate massages,” and travelling to Epstein’s private island.

Bin Sulayem’s resignation was announced as “effective immediately” by DP World, which named Yuvraj Narayan as new CEO.

The revelation about bin Sulayem prompted a pause in investments from major partners, including British International Investment (BII) and Canada’s La Caisse pension fund, due to the reputational risk.

And so it looks like there are actually consequences for people in the Epstein files in some parts of the world. Which is interesting because you’d think Dubai was a place where you might be able to get away with this sort of thing.

Come to think of it, he totally will? I mean, bin Sulayem may have stepped down as CEO of DP World, but he’s still going to be filthy rich and free for the rest of his life. He’ll probably get to keep watching torture videos too.

Well anyway, it’s good to see that at least one redacted name exposed. Now can we do the rest>
