Hollywood Actor John Leguizamo Demands Americans Who Support ICE Unfollow Him And Stop Watching His Films

I’m not sure that anyone has ever watched a film specifically to see John Leguizamo, but if you have, he is demanding that you stop if you are also an American who supports ICE.

In fairness, Leguizamo is a solid actor – he was Sid the Sloth in Ice Age, Benny Blanco in Carlito’s Way , and Toulouse-Lautrec in Moulin Rouge. He was also in John Wick and Romeo & Juliet. He’s one of those actors that everyone recognises but may not necessarily be able to place.

Well anyway, he’s now put out a short & sweet clip when he sternly tells people: “If you follow ICE, unfollow me. Don’t come to my shows, don’t watch my movies.”

Fair play to John Leguizamo for standing up for what he believes in and letting the world know how he feels. It is a bit ironic that the guy who made millions starring in the Ice Age franchise would be so vehemently against ICE, but that’s life for you.

Leguizamo is just one in a long line of American celebrities who have spoken out against ICE recently. Isn’t it such a weirdly American thing for celebrities to get involved in politics like this? I could be wrong but I don’t remember people like Daniel Craig, Idris Elba or Adele stepping in when it comes to high-level dramas like this in the UK. The British public don’t ask or expect them to, either.

Maybe John heard Billie Eilish’s call-out the other day and decided to get involved? More movie stars to follow suit, no doubt.
