Man Sexually Assaulted On Train As Police Release CCTV
British Transport Police are looking for a woman who sexually assaulted a man on a train travelling between Sheffield and Worksop.
The woman sexually assaulted the man as she passed by his seat on Sunday, December 14, at around 9.40pm. Officers have now issued CCTV images of the culprit a woman they wish to speak to about the incident:

A spokesperson for the force said: “Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board a train travelling between Sheffield and Worksop have released these CCTV images in connection.
“On Sunday, December 12, at around 9.40pm, a woman sexually assaulted a man as he walked past her seat. Detectives believe the woman in these CCTV images may have information that could help with their investigation.”
No word in the Manchester Evening News article over what she actually did, but clearly the man felt violated enough to tell the police about it.
As you might imagine, there are loads of commenters cracking jokes about this online and claiming they ‘wouldn’t mind’ being sexually assaulted by this young lady, and even asking ‘which train?’ so they can buy a ticket. I guess that’s to be expected because society simply does not take sexual assault against men as seriously as it does when it happens to women.
Of course, it shouldn’t matter who does it or who the victim is – sexual assault is sexual assault. Here’s hoping this pervert is tracked down and arrested. Will be interesting to get more details around the assault and see how the courts deal with it compared to how they would punish a man who had done the same thing to a woman.
