Police Manhunt Is Underway For Man Who Called Someone A “P**fter”

A police manhunt is underway for an Aussie jogger who called someone a “p**fter” in the Kensington area of Melbourne.

The man reportedly jogged past a group of gay men when he used the homophobic slur, and when later confronted by a witness, added: “They’re all f****** disgusting, they’re all perverts and need to get the f*** out of Kensington.”

Now obviously harassing and yelling slurs at strangers is a crime and this is nothing new, but a large number of Aussies on social media are shocked at the attention this case is receiving, particularly at a time when violent crime and car-jackings are (apparently) soaring in Melbourne.

Others even claim that punishing this man for calling someone a “p**fter” would violate his freedom of speech.

Authorities have stated they will “leave no stone unturned” to make an arrest, and the incident has been featured in nightly news bulletins to alert the public and assist in identifying the suspect.
