Vitaly To Be Deported To Russia After Spending 9 Months In Philippines Jail
Quick recap for the unitiated: last year, Vitaly went over to the Philippines to do some live-streaming and ended up committing a few crimes in the process; including theft, harassment and disturbing the peace. This behaviour did not go down too well with Filipino locals, the government or the police, and Vitaly was thrown into a Manila prison cell on April 3 2024, where he has remained – until now.
Indeed – authorities in the Philippines have now decided that Vitaly has served his time, and are having some mercy on the guy as they confirmed today they will be deporting him.
It’s actually a prime good news/bad news scenario for Vitaly. On the one hand, he’s finally free to go after enduring 9 months in jail in the Philippines, but on the other hand, he’s being deported to Russia because he won’t actually be allowed back into America.
You see, despite residing in the U.S. and holding a U.S. green card, Vitaly is not a U.S. citizen, and his criminal record from the Philippines makes him “deportable” under U.S. immigration laws, which strictly regulate green card holders with foreign criminal offenses.
Which means he’s being deported back to Russia – his country of citizenship and the origin of his passport – where he’ll no doubt be called up to fight in the war against Ukraine.

It’s also worth noting that according to officials in the Philippines, both the U.S. and Russia had initially declined to accept Vitaly earlier in his detention, with Russia only recently agreeing to take him back.
Absolute nightmare for the guy. I mean, I’m sure he’ll be glad to get the hell out of the Philippines (where he apparently endured a horrific time in prison), but to go from Filipino jail to a Russian war? Imagine if we’re blogging next week about how Vitaly has been drone striked into oblivion on the front lines in Ukraine? The guy will have had the worst 2025/6 imaginable.

Then again, does he still have his Kick/YouTube money? He’s already been banned from the former, but I imagine he did make a fair amount during his considerable time at the top of the internet prank game.
Maybe he’ll bribe his way out of this one yet.
Meanwhile over in South Korea, fellow streamer Johnny Somali is facing guaranteed prison time for being arguably even more of a d1ck than Vitaly was in the Philippines.
