You Can Now Take Selfies At Lifesize Replica Of Charlie Kirk Assassination Spot
The tent where Charlie Kirk was shot dead was rebuilt at the latest Turning Point USA rally in Phoenix, Arizona, so that attendees could take photos. Fun for all the family!
Turning Point USA installed a lifesize replica of the “Prove Me Wrong” debate tent where Kirk was assassinated, which included framed photos of Kirk and a giant ring light so fans could take professional-level photos.
How grim is that?

The exhibit is part of a larger memorial that includes the original microphone Kirk was using when he was shot at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.
Naturally, the installation has sparked a bit of backlash online, with critics describing the exhibit as “sadistic,” “unsettling,” and “trauma cosplay”.
TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet told the Daily Mail that any criticism of the installation is ‘a shameless attack against young people who were inspired by Charlie’s life and courage’, noting that ‘one of the themes of the conference is to “be courageous and pick up your own microphone”.’

Incredibly normal behaviour for 2025, to be fair. I mean, we’ve already seen how Charlie’s widow, Erika Kirk, came out WWE-style at his memorial and how she immediately took over Turning Point USA when he died, so a Charlie Kirk selfie assassination tent is just par for the course really.
Can you imagine Americans taking selfies in front of a replica of JFK’s blood-splattered limo in 1963? Well, maybe if social media had been around back then, they would have.
