Jake Paul Believes He Won The First Two Rounds Vs Anthony Joshua, Reveals ‘Big Mistake’ He Made

It seems that Jake Paul may be exhibiting early signs of CTE following his KO loss to Anthony Joshua the other week – claiming in a new interview that he believes he won the first two rounds of the fight.

He also reckons it was his cardio that let him down in the end, and not the disparity in skill between himself and the former two-time world champion:

Jake says: “I won two rounds, and then he won two, and then I got dropped. I was doing good.

“I wish I had more than three weeks.

“I think, to prepare to maybe have like put on some more muscle to be able to like sit there and hit him and then I should have gone to altitude to train. That was my biggest mistake.”

In fairness to Jake, he did last way longer against Joshua than anyone expected him to, even if that’s mainly because he was running away from him for most of the fight. He did also land a couple big shots on AJ, even if they had no effect, so you’ve got to give him that at least.

He does fully look and sound like someone who’s just had the sh1t kicked out of him in this interview, so fair play to him for turning up when he should probably still be in a hospital bed.

There are serious doubts over whether Jake Paul will be able to fight professionally again, given Anthony Joshua left him with a double broken jaw that required two titanium plates to be surgically fitted into his face.

If his career is well and truly over – at least he banked $92 million off that KO. Pretty sure I’d have my jaw broken for a lot less.
