3) Missing Gravity

Some areas of earth have less gravity than others. One such area of note is Quebec, especially the Hudson Bay area. For some reason, and no one knows exactly why, there’s less of it around in that region. There are a couple of competing theories as to why this might be happening.
The first theory is that as molten magma dives down it pulls the continental plates lower, therefore decreasing mass which therefore decreases the gravity. The second theory is that a giant ice sheet that used to lay over the area left a huge impression which is only slowly “bouncing back” into shape. This has left the area with a lower mass and hence lower gravity.
Most modern scientists reckon that both theories are probably playing a part in Hudson Bay’s freaky physics.
