YouTuber & AFTV Star LV General Has Been Charged With Rape
YouTuber, comedian, rapper & AFTV personality LV General (real name Augustine Mitchell) has been charged with rape following an alleged incident in south east London.
The 37-year-old appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court last month and was remanded in custody. He later attended a bail application hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on June 8, with the outcome not yet publicly known.
The offence itself is alleged to have taken place on May 24 in Lewisham, so it sounds like a very quick turnaround. It would also have been the same day he released this music video celebrating Arsenal’s Premier League title win:

A second man – Marcel Johnson, 39, of Grove Park – was also arrested in connection with the investigation. He has been charged with kidnap with the intention of committing a relevant sexual offence and two counts of rape.
Johnson is now out on bail while LV General remains on remand.
Now obviously LV (and his co-defendant) deserves a fair process to determine whether he really did the things he is accused of. It’s not looking great for him though, and it’s also another fat L for AFTV who already have more than enough wrong’uns associated with their channel.
Previously, AFTV regular DT was almost jumped after being released from prison for violently stalking his ex.
DT has since been booted from the channel, and you can fully expect the same to happen to LV. More importantly than that, though – let’s hope justice is served in the courts.
