The Russian Slap Champion Says Will Smith Hit Chris Rock ‘Like A Girl’

If there’s one person who can offer an expert opinion on Will Smith’s slap of Chris Rock at the Oscars, it’s Russian Slap Champion Vasily ‘The Dumpling’ Kamotskiy. And seeing as Will Smith got so upset over a GI Jane joke, Vasily’s analysis of his slap technique will probably send him into full on meltdown.

Vasily told Sports.ru:

It was a weak blow, he didn’t put his body into it.

And he struck from top to bottom, you need to strike from the bottom up, or at least from the side. In general, he hit like a girl. Just like they hit in all [American] movies.

There you have it. The Russian Slap Champion has spoken. Not only does Will Smith have a terrible slap technique, he’s also representative of the American entertainment industry’s lack of masculinity in general. Not that that’s stopped the Slap Fighting Championship offering him & Chris Rock the grandest stage of all to settle their differences:
