Woman Who Shot At Rihanna’s Home Charged With Attempted Murder

A woman who shot at Rihanna’s LA home with an AR-15-style rifle while the singer was inside has been charged with attempted murder.

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, from Orlando, Florida, pulled up to Rihanna’s home on Sunday afternoon and fired 7 to 10 rounds from her rifle while sitting in a white Tesla parked outside the property.

At least four rounds struck the residence, with one bullet penetrating an exterior wall. Bullet holes were also found in the property’s front gate and an Airstream trailer in the driveway.

Rihanna, her parner A$AP Rocky, and their three kids were all confirmed to be inside the home at the time of the shooting. Fortunately, no one was shot, but it must have been pretty alarming for the kids.

After fleeing the scene, the suspect’s vehicle was tracked by an LAPD air unit and she was then arrested and booked on attempted murder charges, with bail has been set at $10,225,000 – good luck paying that.

Armen Arias, an LAPD spokesperson told the LA Times: ‘When they pulled the suspect over and took her into custody, they searched the vehicle and located an assault rifle and seven casings.’

Police have yet to uncover a motive, but I think it’s safe to say we’re dealing with an unhinged person. Especially if she travelled all the way from Florida to California to do it.

What were Rihanna and ASAP Rocky’s security doing at the time, anyway? Surely they’ve got one or two armed guards stationed outside the home? Well, maybe they were having an off-day, or maybe there’s not too much you can do about a person who just pulls up outside in a Tesla and starts firing an AR-15 at the property.
