A murderer sent out a disturbing online tribute to her boyfriend in a desperate bid to cover up her crime.

Zoe Warren posted the Facebook message just hours after she and her friend Kerian Adey brutally murdered Mark Shaw. Today the pair have been jailed for life after Mark was found dead on his bed. He was tied at the ankles and gagged and had suffered more than 80 injuries to his head, torso and limbs.

Mark Shaw

He had been beaten with a pool cue at his home in Newcastle. A court heard how Adey was angry because Mark owed him a fiver (yes, a fiver) and because he had told the police about him smashing his windows just days earlier. Meanwhile Warren was pissed off that he had spent her last £10 on drugs. Yes, that’s annoying, but it’s no reason to go and brutally murder someone.

In a pathetic attempt to cover her tracks, Warren posted a tribute on her Facebook page to express her heartache.

During the court case Warren tried to blame Adey for all of the violence, while although he admitted biting and punching Mark, he insisted that it was Warren who dealt the fatal blow with a knife. Classic cowards.

The jurors also heard how Warren confessed to a new boyfriend about her involvement in the murder and how she had “gotten away with it”. Meanwhile Adey did the same thing to his neighbours. Not the sharpest tools in the shed are they?

Now Warren and Adey have been jailed for life and must serve at least 17 years behind bars. That’s not long enough if you ask me – if they were in America they would’ve been given life without parole. One of the worst punishments you can get.
