Yesterday we heard what Jada Pinkett Smith thought about Chris Rock’s recent Netflix special where he finally addressed Will Smith slapping him and made a few jokes about it – she was upset about it and thought Chris was obsessed with her, bit of a plot twist – and today we’re hearing what Will himself thinks about it all.

In news that won’t come as a surprise to anyone that has followed the saga or who has seen Rock’s special, Will acted like the bxtch he is and completely followed his wife’s thought process on the matter. Here’s what he had to say about it:

Will is embarrassed and hurt by what Chris said about him and his family in his Netflix special.

He thinks it’s disgraceful that Netflix even aired it.

He didn’t watch it, but he had people tell him what Chris said … It’s everywhere when you look online and on social media, so Will and Jada have seen comments about it …

Will apologized to Chris and would like for Chris to let it go.

He’s been working on himself and has tried to make amends but to no avail.

Yeah I can get why it’s kind of annoying for Will Smith that everyone is going to bang on about the slap and make jokes about it for the rest of his life, but when you go and smack someone in the face during the Oscars then I don’t really think that you can expect any other reaction. It’s a totally unprecedented, freak event and it’s sadly going to be the first thing that anyone thinks of whenever they hear the name Will Smith now. Better get used to it daddy because it ain’t going away ever.

For more of the same, check out these people getting absolutely awful tattoos of the Will Smith/Chris Rock slap. What are they thinking there?
