We wrote earlier this year about how ‘Triangle Of Sadness’ received an eight minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival back in May, but sadly back then a trailer hadn’t been released and all we had was a plot synopsis.

Thankfully, this problem has now been solved and we can get our first look at what all the fuss is about. The movie revolves around a shipwreck and how a bunch of rich influencers and the poorer shipmates react in the aftermath in order to survive, which kinda makes it sound like a modern day satire of ‘Lord Of The Flies’.

Take a look at the trailer and see what you think:

In Ruben Östlund’s wickedly funny Palme d’Or winner, social hierarchy is turned upside down, revealing the tawdry relationship between power and beauty.

Celebrity model couple, Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean), are invited on a luxury cruise for the uber-rich, helmed by an unhinged boat captain (Woody Harrelson).

What first appeared instagrammable ends catastrophically, leaving the survivors stranded on a desert island and fighting for survival.

That doesn’t really look that good does it? Just kinda silly and dumb and dare I say it obvious?

You probably can’t disagree with all those reviews though can you, so I’ll probably be checking it out when it drops on October 7th. Sometimes the trailer doesn’t make the movie and you gotta love Woody Harrelson.

For more of the same, check out when this Instagram model had a breakdown over her likes being taken away. Imagine she would fit well into this movie.
