Two Days Later, Russell Brand Has Found The Bible Verse He Was Looking For On Piers Morgan

It took Russell Brand two whole days to find the Bible passage that he struggled to locate during his painfully awkward Piers Morgan interview the other day, but he’s finally sharing it with the world.

Turns out it’s Isaiah 43:18-19 – a message of hope and embracing new beginnings…

It’s amazing he couldn’t find that big blue post-it note when he was looking for it with Piers, but alas.

The passage reads: Forget the former things/ Do not dwell on the past/ See I am doing a new thing/ Now it springs up, do you perceive it?/I am making a way in the wilderness/And streams in the wasteland.

Deep. Who knows? Maybe the scripture really is touching and transforming his soul, and this isn’t just a grift to make himself look like a man of God ahead of his trial for rape and sexual assault this coming October.

I’m not sure it’s going to make a difference to the outcome of his trial given the seriousness of the allegations, but it looks like he’s going all-in on the born again Christian thing regardless, whether it’s sincere or not. He might even manage to dig a bigger hole for himself by the time the trial comes around….
