The ‘John Wick’ films are undoubtedly some of the greatest action movies of all time, so obviously everyone is completely amped up for the fourth movie in the franchise and its release on the 24th March next year.

Slight spoiler alert here from the end of ‘John Wick 3’ so if for some reason you’re reading this and haven’t seen it, maybe skip the next part of this article and go straight to the trailer.

OK so obviously the third movie ended with Ian McShane’s Winston shooting John Wick off the roof before he was rescued off the street by Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King, so presumably the two of them are going to team up in the next movie to take down Winston and the High Table. Sounds like an awesome plot to the movie doesn’t it? But all might not be what it seems because a fifth movie has already been announced so they’re going to need to set that up as well.

Anyway, here’s the trailer:

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uncovers a path to defeating the High Table.

But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.

OK so that didn’t really look anything like what I thought it would as it seems like John Wick and Winston are friends again from that trailer? And the movie is more about Wick and Bill Skarsgard having a duel to the death at sunrise for his freedom?

Not sure how they’re gonna turn that into a two hour movie unless it’s a really long duel, but I think the team behind ‘John Wick’ have enough credit in the bank for us to give them a go. I’ll be there come March.

*It’s also worth noting how this trailer does that thing that almost every big movie trailer does now by having some weird goth version of a classic song playing over it. Why is that a thing now? Honestly hate it.
