Thierry Henry’s Priceless Reaction As Zlatan Ibrahimovic Shuts Down US Pundits

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thierry Henry hate working with US pundit Alex Lalas on the World Cup and it shows, but he really rubbed up the former the wrong way during France v Senegal earlier.

Lalas was referring to fellow US pundit Landon Donovan who had suggested that France’s first-half display was ‘arrogant’ and ‘casual’, adding his own comment: ‘The reality is that if they are arrogant, it’s because they can do things like that.’

Which promoted Zlatan to respond: ‘It’s not arrogance, it’s confidence. Ignorant people will say it’s arrogance, intelligent people will say it’s confidence.’

Awkward! Thierry Henry’s face said it all – the guy can’t wait to get back to Kate and Big Meeks on CBS…

Indeed, audiences have picked up on Henry and Zlatan’s disdain for Lalas, as I guess they just don’t respect his opinion or believe he knows what he’s talking about, even though he’s also played the game himself (at a much lower level, mind).

Zlatan especially only respects talent and skill. He thinks Lalas is an impostor and from the looks of it on social media, so do a lot of others. We’re barely a week into a tournament so I’m guessing there’s going to be a lot more moments between this trio coming up.

Previously – Lalas called James Corden a “full kit w@nker” live on air.
