This swing is located in Ecuador near the Tunguhuaru Volcano and is a staggering 2600 feet above sea level. Although it looks like it swings over a cliff, it’s actually just over a very steep slope. Either way if you jumped off the swing or fell then you would probably die and it looks completely awesome like this and would definitely be a lot of fun (unless you’re scared of heights) in any case.

You can get a great view of the volcano when you’re swinging on it and apparently it feels like ‘nothing else in the world’. Surprisingly, most of the people who travel to the area actually go on the swing – I would be shit scared so I’m not 100% sure I would be able to brave it – as most of them want to know what it feels like to swing into the void off the cliff. Most of them love it.

If you fancy trying it, you can find Case Del Arbol (The Treehouse) on the trail from Banos to Bellavista.
