Wow, it’s actually happening. Almost two full decades since he faced The Rock at Wrestlemania 19 in 2003, Stone Cold Steve Austin is finally making his return to a WWE ring. The guy he’s facing? One of the better personalities in modern day WWE – Kevin Owens. Not only has KO stolen the Stone Cold Stunner as his finishing move, he’s also been calling Stone Cold an old man and trashing his home state of Texas for weeks now:

Well that’s not very nice is it? Obviously Stone Cold had to step up and accept the challenge, but I’m curious to see what kind of match these two are going to have. At 57, Stone Cold probably can’t do much except punch and kick (which was 80% of his offense back in the day tbf). The important thing is he has one last Stone Cold Stunner left in him. We have to see a Stone Cold Stunner right? Otherwise what’s the point?

Check this out:

Imagine being a young lad who grew up watching the Attitude Era and now you get to face Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania in 2022. What a dream for KO. One thing’s for sure – the arena in Dallas, Texas is gonna absolutely explode when that glass hits on April 2nd. Can’t wait.
