South African Police Chief Was Sweating So Hard At His Corruption Hearing The Tissue Stayed Stuck On His Forehead
South African police chief Julius Mkhwanazi is being investigated over allegations of corruption, misconduct and political interference, and it seems his own body is testifying against him in court before he even opens his mouth.
Mkhwanazi was visibly sweating while being questioned at his hearing this week, and was so drenched in sweat that the tissue he used to wipe himself stayed stuck on his forehead:

Incredible. I’ve genuinely never seen anything like it. Sweating so much on your bald head that you can’t even feel a massive bit of tissue stuck to it?
To make things worse, they left him sitting there for a while with a tissue on his head before the presiding judge, Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, eventually paused proceedings to tell him: “Oh, you have a tissue stuck on your forehead”.
Mkhwanazi awkwardly removed the paper and thanked the judge, explaining, “It’s because I’m sweating”. No sh1t, sherlock.
Mkhwanazi was suspended in November 2025 following an internal audit into claims he used his position for personal gain and influenced illegal promotions.
To be fair to him, people also feel immense, sweat-inducing stress when they’re accused of things they didn’t do. But still – it’s not the greatest look in the world for a man who is pleading his innocence in court. We’ll have to see how it plays out for him.
You know who would never have this problem? Prince Andrew.
