Back in 1993, Snoop Dogg was charged with first-degree murder after a man was shot dead in Los Angeles. The charges were later dropped (turns out Snoop Dogg’s bodyguard did the shooting), but Snoop, who was on tour in the UK at the time, faced calls to be kicked out of the country with headlines like ‘Kick The Evil B*stard Out’ from papers like the Daily Star.

Amazingly, it was Queen Elizabeth II who then came to Snoop Dogg’s rescue. Listen to him tell the story himself if you don’t believe me:

Mind-blowing stuff. I wonder if this story will force the haters to see Queen Liz in a new light? Never mind all the gold, diamonds and resources the British Empire stole from Africa or all the people they brutally murdered and tortured. That’s more than made up for by the fact Lizzie allowed 90’s era Snoop Dogg to tour the UK after he had just been accused of murder. Absolute G behaviour from Queen Elizabeth II. I knew Donald Trump must’ve got the idea to pardon Lil Wayne and Kodak Black from somewhere…

Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson is being ripped to shreds for signing the Queen’s Book of Condolence the other day. The Scousers were never gonna like that, were they?
