Many people believe that Nostradamus was able to predict some of the biggest events in world history – including the rise of Nazi Germany and the 9/11 attacks in America – and now one of the leading experts on the man has revealed that he foresaw that King Charles would abdicate from the throne in the next few years.

Mario Reading wrote way back in 2005 that Nostradamus predicted both the death of the Queen in 2022 and the abdication of Charles in 2026 as part of a poem written even further back in 1555. Here’s what he had to say about it (courtesy of timesnownews):

The preamble is that Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa 2022, at the age of around ninety-six, five years short of her mother’s term of life,” said Reading elucidating Nostradamus’s poems. The author went on to explain that when the seer used the words “King of the Islands”, he meant that the many countries of the Commonwealth would break away during Charles’s time as king.

Speaking of King Charles’s reign, the author stated, “Prince Charles will be seventy-four years old in 2022, when he takes over the throne, but the resentments held against him by a certain proportion of the British population, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, still persist.

Interpreting Nostradamus’s writings, Reading concluded that King Charles would abdicate due to his age and that will make way for Prince Harry to ascend the British throne. The seer’s words, “A man will replace him who never expected to be King” refer to Prince Harry, according to Reading.

Reading added, “Does that mean that Prince William, who would have expected to succeed his father, is no longer in the picture?” Further, he stated, “That would make him King Henry IX, aged just 38.”

There’s a lot going on there and it doesn’t really have any basis in reality other than the fact that Nostradamus seemingly predicted the Queen’s death, but I guess that does mean he has previous authority on the subject? I suppose we’ll have to wait and see how everything unfolds over the next couple of years but it’s definitely something to keep your eye on.

NB There’s also speculation that ‘the man who never thought he would be king’ is Australian Simon Doranate Day, who reckons he’s the secret love child of King Charles and Camilla. What a mess that could end up being hey? Can’t really figure out a situation where that could actually happen, but just imagine if it did? Sounds like a really bad sitcom.
