Scottish Labour Leader Becomes First Top Figure To Call For Keir Starmer To Quit

There isn’t a day that goes by where things do not get worse for Keir Starmer, and now a major figure in his own party has called on the Prime Minister to quit.

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar told a press conference: ‘The distraction has to end, and the leadership in Downing Street has to change.

‘Keir Starmer is a decent man, and it is no secret that I have always got on well with him, and he has dedicated his life to public service.

‘I have also dedicated myself to public service, and I need to decide what I’m willing to accept and what I’m willing to tolerate.’

‘The situation in Downing Street is not good enough. There have been too many mistakes. They promised they were going to be different, but too much has happened.’

Labour have been getting pummeled in the polls since Starmer came into power, so there’s really no point sugarcoating things for someone like Sarwar who has to contend with the SNP over in Scotland.

Downing Street confirmed earlier Keir Starmer will not be resigning today – but pressure continues to mount on the PM.

His list of c*ck ups are too numerous to mention, but just recently the PM come under fire for the whole Lord Mandelson/Epstein situation, seen his No 10 Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney resign, his Director of Communication quit, and welcomed an ‘anti-British extremist’ into the UK without realising it.

Can anyone really see Starmer making it to the next General Election in 2029? I would be absolutely amazed if he does. Will probably have more within Labour calling for him to resign in coming weeks. May not even make it to the summer at this rate.
