This promo video was made last year for SXSW and features a real life Mario and Luigi who seem to be better actors than Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo in a matter of minutes  – God how shit was that Super Mario Bros film? Anyway, this short shows Mario wanting to get his girl back (Princess Peach) and living out some features of the game in real life. Climbing through pipes, stepping on people and popping some star XTC tablets which make him feel invincible (lol) are all parts of his quest to get Peach back. This would be amazing if it was made into a fully fledged feature but I’m sure there’s some heavy copyright issues on the whole Mario thing. Anyway check out this preview:
