Crazy scenes at a heavyweight boxing event in Koszalin, Poland, the other night as MMA fighter Marcin Sianos made his pro boxing debut against the undefeated Artur Bizewski, who I guess was trying to extend his 0-9 streak by fighting a complete newbie.

Midway through the second round, Marcin Sianos landed an illegal elbow on his opponent, and then followed that up by taking him down onto the mat and ground and pounding him until the referee stopped the contest. What a lunatic:

Welp, old habits die hard I suppose. Although we can’t be sure whether Marcin Sianos was just so in the zone that he forgot he was in a boxing match and went into autopilot or if he’s just that much of a c*** that he threw the fight away so that he could punish Bizewski illegally.

Either way, the Polish crowd was not happy with him and started throwing things into the ring before chasing Marcin Cianos out of the arena. Here he is (rather hilariously) legging it to safety:

I’m guessing he’ll be banned or at the very least fined for this. Intentional or not, it’s just not a good look for the sport of boxing, is it? If you ask me Marcin Sianos should call it a day and go back to MMA where he can ground and pound to his heart’s content.
