Probably not, because my gf and I invented it during a 2023 blizzard in Buffalo, NY.

We lock our phones away, turn the TV off…

Each grab a bottle of wine, and talk.

So this guy is getting absolutely roasted on social media right now for apparently thinking that he ‘invented’ drinking wine and having a cosy night in with your girlfriend. Acting like it was some genius idea that came to him during the Buffalo, NY blizzard of 2023, and that he’s us all a solid by sharing the wisdom.

The idea behind it is simple: just put your phones away (except for the part where you take a photo to prove that you’re hanging out together), take a seat together, and talk! Make sure you have a bottle of wine each to get hammered though otherwise it won’t work. Here’s some of the reaction online:
