Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick has a pro tip for customers who can’t afford to feed their families in 2024: just eat cereal for dinner.

The price of cereal has really gone up in recent times so I’m not even sure this is the bargain he thinks it is, but just have a listen to this smarmy pr1ck talk like he cares about anything other than boosting his own bank balance as he recommends cereal for dinner:

Now I’m as guilty as anyone else when it comes to eating cereal as a snack, for lunch or even dinner when I need a quick meal or can’t be bothered to cook, but I’m not sure that a Cereal for Dinner campaign is the best idea in the world to be pushing onto the masses.

For one thing, processed chemicals and sugars are the fastest way to get cancer, diabetes, and all other kinds of self-inflicted dietary diseases. Is millionaire Kelloggs CEO Gary Pilnick going to cover everyone’s healthcare when all the fatsos of America follow his advice and get sick at an even more rapid pace? Of course not. He’s just worried about his bottom line and earning his annual $4.4 million bonus.

If you are going to have dinner for cereal every evening though, maybe just stick to Porridge.
