What should have been a great day for fans of the Kansas City Chiefs turned tragic yesterday as two men opened fire on the city’s Super Bowl Parade, killing 1 person and injuring 21 others. Just absolutely terrible, obviously, and really makes you question the decision to host the 2026 World Cup in America around all these trigger-happy lunatics.
It’s always difficult blogging news like this especially on an unserious ‘comedy’ site, but we just wanted to give some recognition to the heroic bystanders who tackled one of the gunmen and held him down until police got there. A couple of clips doing the rounds below:

Legends. Special shout out to that one guy getting a little ground and pound in there too. Here’s hoping these heroes are thanked properly and that this latest example of gun violence in the US leads to some kind of change, although that’s extremely wishful thinking considering this keeps on happening and affecting zero change whatsoever.
