First things first – Jeremy Renner is out of hospital and recovering at home, so that’s great news. The Marvel star was helping a motorist stranded in the snow when he was crushed by his own 14,000lbs snow plough. As he’s only an Avenger in the movies and not in real life, Renner was left bleeding out in the snow with blunt force trauma to the chest, a brutal gash to his head, and a horrific leg injury.

You can now listen to the audio of his neighbour’s heroic 911 call below:

Damn, how intense was that? You can hear Renner breathing and grunting in the background as his neighbour describes the scene and how much blood there is everywhere. Respect to Renner’s neighbour for how calm he remained throughout the whole thing while feeling utterly helpless with no real clue as to how long it would take help to arrive.

The true extent of Renner’s injuries isn’t known at this time, but according to his friends they’re “worse than anyone knows” and could take years to recover from. Actually pretty impressive he’s back home after just two weeks, but sounds like there’s still a long road ahead for him and his family. No doubt he’s getting the best treatment money can buy though so it’s just great to hear he’s back home with the people he loves after this traumatic near-death experience.

Also noticed this Tweet earlier, which is interesting:

Not sure how necessary that is but I guess it’s no biggie as long as the show itself goes unchanged. Best wishes to Renner and here’s to as speedy a recovery as possible.

Amazingly, there are people on social media celebrating Renner’s injuries because of some allegations made by his ex-wife years back. The internet really is something…
