Jeremy Renner Was ‘Helping Motorist Stranded In The Snow’ Before Being Run Over By His Own Snow Plough

By now you’ve probably heard that movie star Jeremy Renner pulled a Brian Harvey and ran himself over with his own snow plough, although unlike the East 17 frontman, Renner wasn’t eating a jacket potato at the time, but rather helping a stranded motorist who was stuck in the snow.

Renner was busy digging his Lake Tahoe house out of the snow when he spotted the motorist and stopped to help him. At that point, his snow plough’s safety feature failed and ran him over. As per the Independent, the 51-year-old Marvel star has undergone multiple surgeries and remains in the Intensive Care Unit, having suffered suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. A representative confirmed ‘he was helping someone stranded in the snow’ when the incident took place.

Here’s a look at the plough in question – absolute heavy duty machinery:

Imagine being run over by that thing – yikes. We do know that Renner’s neighbour, who happens to be a doctor, rushed to Renner’s aid and put a tourniquet on his leg to stem the bleeding before he was airlifted to hospital. The actor is currently in critical but stable condition, but who knows if that would be the case if it wasn’t for his neighbour.

The good news is that Renner was alert and talking yesterday, but I think that was before another surgery that took place later that day. In any case, he posted the following message on Instagram:

“Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”

Just an absolute nightmare situation to find yourself in, especially when you consider he was helping a fellow human being out at the time. Here’s hoping Renner pulls through and makes a speedy recovery. Time to give one of the most underrated actors in the game his flowers, I think.

Amazingly, there are people on social media celebrating Renner’s injuries because of some allegations made by his ex-wife years back. The internet really is something…
