Everyone has been super concerned about the Russian invasion of Ukraine or maybe the Kanye West/Pete Davidson beef, so you might have missed the fact that Channel 4 started airing a two part ‘Death On Daytime’ documentary about ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ over the weekend, revealing the truth behind the backstage culture of the show and how they took advantage of most of the guests that appeared over the years.

I’m not gonna talk too much about the show here – you can watch it yourself fairly easily and it’s definitely worth checking out – but one man who has remained silent ever since the suicide of guest Steven Dymond back in April 2019  is Jeremy Kyle himself, so everyone was wondering if he was going to end up commenting on the show. He decided to take the opportunity on his drive time radio show on talkRADIO, saying the following:

Let’s just deal with the elephant in the room straight away.

A couple of texts already talking about a certain programme that was on television last night. Yes, I am fully aware.

I will say only this, my friends, to you. I have maintained a consistent approach over the last three years.

I have said that I will not comment on the tragic death of Steve Dymond until the legal process is finished, and that is a position that I will maintain.

When, and trust me there will be a time after the inquest, when it is proper for me to have my say, because there are two sides to every story.

I will do it here, and I will do it to you, and that is the most important thing.

Hmm, not really buying that but I suppose he has to stick with that line until the report does come out. I kinda thought that the results of one inquest came out last year some time? How long is it going to take for them to come to a conclusion about the show and Dymond’s suicide if Channel 4 can make a two part documentary in that time?

Seems like Kyle could be dodging taking responsibility for a very long time – and even when he does tell his version of events you can bet that he’ll try and shirk it off and blame everything on someone else. It’s quite clear that’s the kind of character that he is, but I guess we’re gonna have to wait a little longer to see how he finally tries to play this out.

For more of the same, check out these brutal comments Kyle was found to have made to Dymond days before his death. Doesn’t exactly look like he’s too innocent in all of this?
