Meghan Markle may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I don’t think anyone on this planet dislikes her more than Jeremy Clarkson after reading what he had to say about her in The Sun the other day. Get a load of this:
Brutal stuff indeed. I know it’s on brand for Clarkson to say outrageous things in an attempt to wind everyone up, but he’s gone especially OTT on this occasion. The Game of Thrones reference is particularly dark, although if I remember correctly on the show it didn’t end well at all for the people who paraded Cersei Lannister through the streets and threw shxt at her. In fact I’m pretty sure she obliterated every last person who was involved in it.
The backlash against Clarkson for these comments has been so bad that even his daughter Emily Clarkson took to Instagram to condemn them:
“My views are and have always been clear when it comes to misogyny, bullying and the treatment of women by the media.
I want to make it very clear that I stand against everything that my dad wrote about Meghan Markle and I remain standing in support of those that are targeted with online hatred.”
Not a great look when even your own daughter is publicly calling you a bully and a misogynist. I mean, even Piers Morgan never said anything that harsh about Meghan Markle and he hates on her for a living. Don’t get me wrong, I find Meghan and Harry’s constant bxtching and moaning as nauseating as the next person, but it’s impossible to justify the level of hatred Clarkson has put in print there. Not to mention it gives them something new to cry about on the next documentary/interview they put out there. Here’s more of the reaction to the piece online:
