Turkish influencer and all-round attractive woman Merve Taşkın was recently in Amsterdam and having herself a good old time. Merve has since scrubbed both images from her Instagram account, as according to the NY Post, a Turkish court handed her a FIVE-MONTH suspended sentence after arresting her on ‘obscenity charges’ upon her return to the country.
Since the sentence is suspended, she’ll avoid jail time for now. But still – what is Turkey playing at? Someone poses with a NSFW art sculpture in Amsterdam and then gets arrested for it in Turkey? All Merve Taşkın was doing was taking in the sights and sounds of a fine European city. I don’t want to land Merve in any more trouble here but if her home country is trying to throw her in jail for that then maybe she should consider moving elsewhere. Don’t wanna be living in a country where you have to walk around on egg shells and second-guess every naughty pic you put on Instagram. Bring your talents to the UK (for example) and live life as you see fit!
