Sometimes, just sometimes, you stumble upon something so simple, so perfect, that you wonder why you’ve never stumbled across it before — hell, you wonder why you hadn’t come up with it or even entertained the thought of its possibility before. Sometimes, maybe even often, that thing is the combination of two perfect things before it coming together in the kind of majesty that will forever outshine those two originating elements.
There was bread and butter; there was ham and eggs; there was salt and vinegar; there was sweet and sour; there was strawberries and cream; there was gin and juice; there was rum and coke; there was absinthe and lemonade; there was cider and black; there were many other combinations that weren’t food or alcohol related but I haven’t eaten yet today and I need a drink.

If I were to ask you though, what everyone’s two favourite things in the world were, you’d say food and sex and I’d say it’s already been done and save it for the bedroom. If I were to ask you a second time though, with your previous answers off the table (mind you, they work best on the table), you’d obviously say ‘Why, it’s Pokemon and putting Nicholas Cage’s face on things, of course!’
At this point, I’d shake your hand on a job well done with the guessing and we’d eat food and have sex with each other whilst classic episodes of Pokemon played in the background from giant screens in an art gallery of Nicholas Cage’s face on things. Afterwards, we’d dust off our Gameboys and battle. Then, once the victor was done cheering and the loser had sobbed all but their last tear, I’d tell you that those things now come together.

Thanks to someone, who can only be described as a hero, it is now possible to enjoy Pokemon and Nicholas Cage’s face on things simultaneously with Nicholas Cage’s face on Pokemon — all of the pokemon. Thanks to the artist, as they shall from hence forth be known, it will be possible to see Nicholas Cage as every single Pokemon, one by one in the numerical order as dictated by the National Pokedex, via the tumblr Gotta Cage ‘em All.
