Credit where it’s due – Gerard Pique is a Barcelona legend. He may have gotten old and he may be a scumbag who cheated on Shakira, but you can’t deny the impact the guy has had on the world of football.
Well, Tuesday night was set to be Pique’s final emotional farewell to Barcelona as he played his final game for the club. Except, he didn’t get the opportunity to be subbed on, because he was shown a red card while still on the bench for telling the referee he was going to sh-t on his whore/prostitute mother:

Amazing. It’s like everyone’s dream of telling off their boss on their last day of work. Except he was probably hoping to get on the pitch for at least a few minutes so he could have a proper send-off from the Barca fans.
I suppose there’s only really two ways you can go out when it’s your final game as a footballer – getting sent off for some outrageous reason or scoring the game-winning goal in the final moments. Looks like Pique chose the former by telling the ref his mum is a prostitute who he’s going to take a dump on. And why? Because the ref had already sent off his teammate Robert Lewandowski earlier in the game. Which they ended up winning 1-2 in any case!
Bit of a lunatic? Well, he did cheat on Shakira after all.
