Doormen and bouncers around the UK have a reputation for being absolute d*ckheads, and is it any wonder when videos like this one routinely do the rounds?
The incident occurred during an under 18s event called ‘WE ARE BOUNCE’ at Rainton Arena in Houghton-le-Spring, Sunderland, on Friday night:

Now I’m sure this 14-year-old girl was being a complete and utter nuisance who was completely disrespecting the place and breaking all kinds of rules, but using the old Homer Simpson “why you little…” choke method to remove her from the premises? Seems just a tad bit excessive. Bouncers gonna bouncer eh?
A spokesperson for Rainton Arena said:
We will be doing as much as possible to keep aiding any investigations by Northumbria Police.
We do not condone behaviour of that sort in any way. The Police and Security Industry Authority are aware of the incident and are dealing with this accordingly.
All CCTV Coverage has been reviewed by the venue along with the parent of the child concerned. The child’s parents are in contact with the Security Company and afull investigation of the incident is now ongoing.
The Security Company is not employed by Rainton Arena, it is a Third Party Company used for the event. We do appreciate your concern but can assure you that this is being dealt with efficiently.
Apparently the person recording the footage was also kicked out and forced to delete the video, but luckily had it in her deleted folder. Classic bouncer move forgetting about that old trick.
Anyway, I can’t imagine this fully grown man keeps his SIA badge after footage of him choking a 14-year-old girl has gone viral, so good riddance and all that. It’s just too bad you have idiots like this giving all the decent doormen around the UK a bad name. I guess it’s just the type of job that attracts power trippers begging to ruin people’s nights for the smallest reason.
