Riders On The Storm
This is an “at-risk survivor” story. That means they didn’t get killed this time. We’re in Florida in 2008 and Tropical Storm Fay is brutalising the state. Our hero is a kite-boarder and I guess the power of the winds just tempted him out for a play. You and I know full well that’s a bad idea, but this fella didn’t seem to see the danger.
A news crew were out capturing some shots of the wind’s awesome power when they caught footage of this pillock trying to ride it. The 26-year-old was picked up by the wind and slammed into the beach, dragged along the sand, picked up again, and bashed into a building.
He did have an emergency release but the wind was so ferocious he didn’t have time to escape. He was injured pretty bad, but his genes are still swimming around in our pool so look out ladies.
