Carson Yeung, Birmingham City Football Club’s owner has been arrested in Hong Kong on suspicion of money laundering. Carson, the 51 year old hairdresser turned multi-millionaire will appear in court in Hong Kong this week to face five charges.

Carson Yeung started his professional career as a hairdresser, but soon become one of the wealthiest men in Hong Kong, but how this drastic financial transition occurred is still a mystery. Many people believe he has been involved with illegal business transactions since he became the co-owner of a Casino several years ago.

Birmingham City chairman Peter Pannu has released a statement saying that his arrest will not affect Birmingham City Football Club, even though they are currently in a bad financial position with debts of over £24 million. Could this be the end of Birmingham City F.C.?
