Brooklyn Beckham Says He ‘Hasn’t Worked In Five Years’ And Admits He ‘Comes Across As Annoying Sometimes’
A lot of us haven’t had a break in five years, but Brooklyn Beckham claims he hasn’t worked a day in that time, as he’s channeling all his energy into his hot sauce brand.
Aspiring chef Brooklyn, 27, is of course the son of Posh & Becks (net worth £1.85 billion) and is married to Nicola Peltz, whose own dad is worth around £1.5 billion.
Brooklyn himself has a net worth of around £7 million, having tried various other careers over the years – including photographer and model.

However, Brooklyn’s one and only focus now is his hot sauce brand ‘Cloud23’. Yup, 23 – the number his dad wore at Real Madrid even though Brooklyn supposedly wants nothing to do with him?
Brooklyn launched Cloud23 in 2024 and said during an event this week that he ‘hasn’t worked in five years’ due to his passion for the brand.
He said: ‘Four years ago I was trying to work out what I wanted to do with my life, what I wanted to do for work.
‘Basically my wife and I got really drunk in our apartment while making hot sauce.
‘I watched a short little video on how to make it and the next day I tried it again. I really wanted to see what I could create.’
Brooklyn’s high-end organic sauce brand is available at Whole Foods, Erewhon, Amazon and Planet Organic, with its two different flavours – hot habanero and sweet jalapeño – retailing for £15 each.
He added: ‘I’m always calling the CEO on Sunday at 10pm with a crazy idea of what direction we might go in or a condiment idea. I’ll call with a ridiculous idea.
‘I can come across as annoying sometimes.’

Top marks for self-awareness there. Brooklyn has indeed irritated a lot of people over the years with his culinary videos on YouTube, his legendary photography book, and the way he publicly threw his parents under the bus.
On his YouTube series Cookin’ with Brooklyn, he once filmed an 8-minute video in which he made a bagel sandwich with coleslaw, a hash brown and fried sea bream. The production apparently included a crew of 62 people and cost $100,000 (£74.8k) to produce.
Hopefully he’s managing the budget a little better with his hot sauce brand. I don’t want to hate on the guy too much because it must be a bit of a head fvck being the son of Posh & Becks, but I don’t know if telling the world that you haven’t worked in 5 years is the best way to get people to relate to you.
Still, he’s got his hot sauce in Whole Foods and Planet Organic so he must be doing something right (using his daddy’s surname). Don’t hate the player, hate the game!
