British Airways Crew Have ‘Out Of Body Experiences’ After Someone Gave Them Weed Gummies

Three British Airways crew members were rushed to hospital after eating sweets given to them by a passenger – which turned out to be THC edibles.

The cabin crew were to have said to have had ‘out of body’ experiences when they ate the sweets, which contained 300mg of THC. A stupidly high dose for anyone, let alone people who are (presumably) not potheads and have no idea what they’ve ingested.

Fortunately, the plane had landed when the trio ate the sweets after a flight from London Heathrow to LA last week.

A source told The Sun: ‘It is a godsend in this case the sweets in question were not shared out among the crew until they had arrived in the US.

‘They were consumed in the crew bus after touchdown, and tired staff gratefully gobbled them up. Almost immediately BA staff realised something was wrong.

‘By the time the group had reached the crew hotel, three staff members who had numerous sweets began suffering “out-of-body” experiences. They felt totally out of control and became panicked and scared.’

The affected crew members were deemed unfit for the return flight to London, and so a new team was assembled in LA. The remaining crew members were flown back a few days later once they’d fully recovered from the experience.

British Airways has now launched an investigation to find the passenger who gave the crew members the edibles, saying they ‘could face multiple charges.’

A BA spokesperson said: ‘A small number of our crew reported feeling unwell at their hotel and have since recovered.

‘We sent a replacement crew to operate the return flight and there was no impact on our customers.’

Just goes to show – you should never accept sweets from strangers. Although in this case, the stranger shouldn’t be giving out edibles to cabin crew on board a flight either. What would have happened if the pilot had some and started freaking out in the cockpit?

Seems like an outrageously risky prank to pull, if that’s what the passenger was going for. Unless this passenger doesn’t actually exist? We’ll have to wait and see what the BA investigation finds.
