Bob Vylan Chants ‘Death To The IDF’ At The Al-Quds Day Protest, Is Once Again Under Investigation

Welp, he’s done it again. After all that drama at Glastonbury, Bobby Vylan, the frontman of punk-rap duo Bob Vylan, got another ‘Death to the IDF’ chant going at the weekend during the Al-Quds Day demonstration in London.

Here’s the footage:

As per the BBC, Bob Vylan is now once again under investigation by the Metropolitan police, which is a bit odd as they already investigated him the first time around when he did the same thing at Glastonbury, and dropped all charges after determining that it did not meet the criminal threshold.

Then again, maybe it’s the context that matters. Chanting ‘Death to the IDF’ at Glastonbury may not be considered criminal, but at a protest where there could be extremists and fundamentalists present who might be incited to violence? That may change things a little bit.

Will be interesting to see what the consequences could be for Bob Vylan this time. The band have already been dropped by their management, had their US Visas revoked and a bunch of shows cancelled worldwide. The one thing they had going for them at the end was that they weren’t sent to prison over it.

I guess the only way left to punish Bob Vylan would be jail time? Wouldn’t rule it out at this point. The guy is consistent – will give him that.
