Peak times for Andrew Tate as the 35-year-old billionaire and most popular man on the internet remains on pre-trial detention following his arrest on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.

The translated statement below from the Romanian Directorate for the Investigation of Organised Crime sheds some light on how Tate operated in this world, accusing him of using the “lover boy” method of recruitment & coercion to traffic women into porn:

What’s more, screenshots from Andrew Tate’s old website in which he describes his own exploits only serve to bait him up even more:

Oh dear. That line about none of his girlfriends being involved in the sex industry before meeting him isn’t a great look but I guess he thought it was a flex at the time. By his own admission, he would date these girls, make them fall in love with him, and then slowly begin to pimp them into webcam shows, porn and prostitution. Not sure about the legality of all this to be honest, but who knows what evidence the Romanian authorities have on Tate when it comes to the human trafficking/rape side of things.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand how Tate is entertaining and why he appeals to a lot of young men, but preying on young women and manipulating them into becoming sex workers is just objectively fxcked up, especially with the way he then boasts about it and talks about it like it’s a job. As I said though, that in itself does not necessarily mean any crime has been committed. We’ll have to see how this saga unfolds in the coming weeks…
