A Man Being Arrested In Alabama Was Bitten By A Police K-9 And Bit The Dog Back

Wild scenes in Florence, Alabama, as a man bit a police K-9 that had been deployed to bite him during his arrest.

The incident occurred while the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force was executing a search warrant and were interrupted by 46-year-old David Culliver – who was high as a kite:

I’m not sure why a 65kg man has got a dog biting him in the first place when there are already 3/4 police officers on top of him, but it doesn’t seem to have helped the situation. They were also screaming “get off my dog!” when the guy clearly wasn’t even touching the dog? So a bit confusing overall.

According to ABC, Culliver wasn’t even the target of the investigation but rather inserted himself into the scene by yelling at and threatening officers.

He was arrested and now faces charges for disorderly conduct, interfering with a police dog, resisting arrest and public intoxication. Imagine getting yourself in all that trouble over something that didn’t even concern you. What a dummy!

The police dog was treated for its injuries and is expected to make a full recovery, so that’s good.
