Drug Dealer, 22, Jailed After Girlfriend Took Picture Of Him Buried In Cash In Bed

It’s always a bad idea to advertise the fact you’re a drug dealer on social media, but one couple over in Hull couldn’t resist and now their drug-dealing career is over (for the time being, anyway).

Thomas Crombie, 23, had this photo taken on the bed where he’s covered in £20 and £10 notes…

It actually looks like it might be AI, but in any case, the image was presented as evidence during Crombie’s trial at Hull Crown Court, where he was eventually sentenced to two years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to supplying cocaine, heroin and cannabis, and acquiring criminal property.

His girlfriend, 22-year-old Marley Harfield, was responsible for the photo…

Hadfield ended up with a two-year suspended sentence herself, after arguing in court that Crombie had manipulated her into drug dealing and only ever rewarded her with takeaways in return.

After Crombie suffered an ankle injury in a bicycle accident and had to use crutches, Hadfield “picked up the slack” by weighing bags and dealing the drugs to customers on his behalf. She was just trying to be a good girlfriend!

Unfortunately for her, the judge ruled that she was a “willing participant” in the dealing, and aside from the two-year suspended sentence, Hadfield was sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid work and 15 days of rehabilitation activity. Not too shabby in the grand scheme of things.

Humberside Police had seized £10,000 worth of Class A, B, and C drugs alongside £10,000 in cash when they raided a property linked to Crombie on Carden Avenue.

The confiscated cash was ordered by the court to be forfeited and donated to a local charity (boxing club), so that’s nice.
