A van driver in Kent saw armed police chasing a suspect on foot, pulled over, told the officer to get in the back, and drove them after the guy.

Moments later – the suspect, wanted for a serious assault on Margate High Street, was caught:

Legendary stuff. Now all we have to do is hope the van driver doesn’t get a letter in the post in two months’ time for speeding and telling him he’s due in court. For now though, you just know the van driver had the best day ever after that. Nothing could have ruined his mood! What a rush!

It’s also the kind of story that absolutely none of his mates would have believed down the pub, so good job there’s bodycam footage of it going viral. Legend.
