A Chinese Robot Wearing A Blue Wig Lands Spinning Kick On Child During Demonstration
I don’t want anyone to panic, but a humanoid robot at a demonstration in China has just spin-kicked a young child into oblivion.
The robot, wearing a blue wig, nailed the young boy in the gut and caused him to double over in pain:

Oof. How many software updates away until these things go full Terminator on us?
Organisers at the event in Xinjiang confessed that the accident happened due to a complete lack of crowd control and safety barriers separating the robot from the nearby children.
The good news is that the lad’s mum later confirmed that he did not suffer any serious injuries. However, she has filed a police report against the organisers for their slow emergency response and poor safety protocols.
Previously in robots gone wrong, we had one over in Saudi Arabia inappropriately touching a female reporter:

We also saw one flip out and violently attack factory workers in China last year:

Not ideal really.
For the robot that killed itself after working one year of a 9-to-5 job, click HERE. Clearly, they’re not happy.
