Well, at least she managed to smile through it. This comes 24 hours after news started doing the rounds that Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren clashed over Israel/Palestine on the set of MobLand, prior to his sacking. Which doesn’t necessarily mean that it had anything to do with it, but it’s worth noting.

At 80 years old and a legend of the game already, Helen Mirren is probably beyond cancelling. Still, plenty of people are giving props to the man for at least calling her out and making her feel uncomfortable.
Oppositely, others are calling the man a fvcking idiot for yelling abuse at an 80-year-old woman in the street, no matter what her views are.
